BMW Radiator and Strut

BMW: Cool Cars, Hot Brakes

BMW promises every driver a smooth drive-from the cool and steady acceleration up to the suspensions that you will hardly feel every time you need to slow down. With superior ability in designing car parts fitted for excellent performance, BMW's got you covered from Radiator to Strut.

The BMW auto Radiator is engineered to harmonize the engine of BMW vehicles by regulating antifreeze into its parts. This way, its tendency to overheat is held in check almost all the time.

A radiator is a type of heat exchanger. It is designed to transfer heat from the hot coolant that flows through it to the air blown through it by the fan. Most modern cars, such as BMW cars, use aluminum radiators. These radiators are made by brazing thin aluminum fins to flattened aluminum tubes. The coolant flows from the inlet to the outlet through many tubes mounted in a parallel arrangement. The fins conduct the heat from the tubes and transfer it to the air flowing through the radiator.

The tubes sometimes have a type of fin inserted into them called a turbulator, which increases the turbulence of the fluid flowing through the tubes. If the fluid flowed very smoothly through the tubes, only the fluid actually touching the tubes would be cooled directly.

Radiators usually have a tank on each side, and inside the tank is a transmission cooler. In the picture above, you can see the inlet and outlet where the oil from the transmission enters the cooler. The transmission cooler is like a radiator within a radiator, except instead of exchanging heat with the air, the oil exchanges heat with the coolant in the radiator.

On the other hand, the suspension of a car is just as important as acceleration. Your car should be able to pull out the stops-take a smooth curve, stop without causing much ruckus among the passengers when the brake pedals are pushed down.BMW also has a solution for this. The BMW Strut offers automotive suspension and resistance to longitudinal compression. It also acts as a shock absorber for those unexpected forceful thrusts with every brake.

The Bavarian Motor Works or BMW as it is commonly known today, has been the frontier of car designs since its creation in 1917. It is one of the largest car manufacturers in the world and it has consistently shown its innovation in technology without losing the classic elegance that every BMW car has. BMW is also the parent company of the MINI and the Rolls-Royce cars, and owner of the Rover.

A strut has the capacity to shoulder sideways loads not along its axis of contraction. This component can be found in the chassis where they can be passive braces to reinforce the chassis and/or body, or active components of the suspension.

With its old wisdom in car designs, their BMW Radiator and BMW Strut are sure to be trusted to give drivers The Ultimate Driving Machine for the Ultimate Ride.
